The Hotel is eight minutes walk from Glasgow International Airport, so after flying in late one night recently for a business meeting, it was the taxi driver's surprise that I wanted to be dropped at the Courtyard Glasgow Airport, as it is practically within the Terminal building. In daylight, the route is easily seen with signs from the Hotel directing you to the terminal building swiftly and easily. The following day it took me 8 minutes to reach the Terminal. My only real criticism is that the Hotel could make this point clearer.
Upon arrival check-in was professional and quick and I was in the room within minutes.
The room cost £65 and with a large bed giving me an excellent night's sleep, a generously sized shower, comfy chair, kettle along with a generous supply of bathroom items, coffee and tea this room was excellent value for money. I didn’t need breakfast as I was leaving early, so I did not need to add this in. There was a very welcoming bar with comfy sofas, all decked out for Christmas. Although, I did think a bottle of Peroni at over £5.00 was excessive. The room WiFi was free, it appeared complicated to use, and I somehow was charged £3.00 for the use of the hotel's super-fast BroadBand. Even though the Receptionist did not inform me it had been added to the bill, it was resolved after check-out, to my surprise it will take 5 days to be reimbursed.
Nevertheless, this isn’t just an Airport Hotel, it is very welcoming and at a very good price. Fab!
